Meet Eng. Nirosha Palpita, our accomplished Managing Director with an impressive 3 decades of experience in Civil Engineering. Armed with a BSc in Civil Engineering, an MSc in Specialized Buildings from Vladimir State University of Russia, and an MSc in Project Management from the University of Moratuwa, Nirosha is a seasoned professional leading Janak Engineering (Pvt) Ltd.
Nirosha’s journey began with renowned companies such as Sanken Lanka and United Structural Engineers, shaping his expertise in design and construction methodologies. His international exposure includes serving as the Head of Tsunami Reconstruction Operations for the Red Cross Society and contributing to projects in Ukraine with Savant International.
His influence extends to iconic landmarks, including the Lotus Tower, where he served as a consultant, and the Hyatt project, showcasing his commitment to high-quality results. ANURA KUMARAPELI
With 26 years in the construction industry, Eng. Anura Kumarapeli, Chief Engineer at Janak Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, boasts a diverse career from Site Engineer to Project Manager, both locally and internationally. Notably, he played a pivotal role as Project Engineer for the Colombo Lotus Tower. Anura’s contributions extend to serving as a Senior Engineer for the Tsunami Recovery Program and the Indian housing project initiated by the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.
His international experience includes roles as a Marine Engineer and Survey Coordinator for TOA Cooperation Japan and a Project Engineer for Hong Giap Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. A Chartered Civil Engineer, Mr. Anura holds a B.Sc Engineering (Honors) Degree from the University of Moratuwa.
